NUON / YOURCFOALLY
The story behind a monthly total
When personnel costs rise, the first question is what changed. We built Nuon so YourCFOAlly’s advisers can open a line in a financial statement and follow the figures down to payroll costs, accounts and individual transactions.
Internal platform / Spain / February–October 2025
01 / THE ADVISER’S BRIEF
One reporting tool for different sets of books
Gonzalo and his team at YourCFOAlly, a Spanish CFO advisory firm, needed to explain each client’s results using that client’s own accounts and cost centres. We worked with them on everything from the Spanish-language interface in Figma to the accounting workflows in Bubble.
01 / IMPORT
Bring in the books
Guided onboarding connects a client’s Holded account and imports its accounts and transactions. During synchronisation, Nuon pauses edits so advisers can work from a complete set of records.
02 / MAP
Give each entry a place
Advisers map accounts to reporting categories, then assign cost centres at account or transaction level. An individual entry can carry a different allocation from the rest of its account.
02 / INSIDE THE CALCULATIONS
What counts towards personnel costs?
In Nuon’s nested tables, an adviser can expand operating expenditure, open personnel and compare gross salary with employer social security month by month. The same hierarchy feeds the P&L and separates direct costs, including cost of goods sold, from operating expenses.
THE CALCULATION
Count each entry once
We traced inflated or missing totals to duplicate imports, untagged transactions and parent–child records. Correcting the relationships lets a transaction contribute to the right subtotal without counting it again at the parent level.
THE CORRECTION
Put a cost in the right month
A date change can move an expense between periods. A category or cost-centre correction changes where it appears in the breakdown. We tested those changes against the underlying entries as well as the monthly totals.

03 / FROM BUILD TO PILOT
The first client brought their own books
In October 2025, Gonzalo onboarded YourCFOAlly’s first client on Nuon and checked the reports against actual accounting data. The team could review a Chart.js dashboard, inspect a monthly P&L and correct the transactions behind a figure in the same workspace.
