LIGHTSEND / MORTGAGE & LENDING

A follow-up should feel like a conversation.

We built an iOS CRM that helps loan officers stay in touch with clients and realtors—from the number they already know. Thoughtful scheduling behind the scenes. A personal message at the other end.

01 / BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE

Good relationships need more than a reminder.

Alex Hernandez knows the cost of being forgotten. As a loan officer, he saw clients return to the market without returning to him. In his public account of building RateUpdate, the problem was simple: even happy clients needed a reason to remember their loan officer.

That experience gives LightSend a clear purpose: make personal follow-up easier to sustain. We helped turn the relationship work into a daily iPhone routine, with campaigns, reminders, and familiar conversations that keep moving.

Built around the relationship, not just the reminder.

02 / DESIGNING THE FOLLOW-UP

One campaign. A different timeline for every person.

A new contact joins today. Their introduction is due first, with the next message scheduled after an agreed delay. Someone who joins next week starts their own sequence from the beginning.

We translated that logic into multi-step campaigns with individual contact timelines, time-of-day scheduling, and reusable personalization. A final step can move a contact into another campaign, keeping longer relationships moving.

Draft → add steps and contacts → start → follow up

03 / MAKING THE NEXT ACTION CLEAR

An update for many people. Still sent personally.

Some messages belong in a sequence. Others are a one-time update or a regular check-in. Broadcasts support immediate, scheduled, and recurring outreach, with a clear view of who is still waiting.

When a message is due, a notification opens the native message composer with the recipient and text prepared. The user reviews and confirms each send. Scheduling does the remembering; the person stays in control of the conversation.

The home screen brings active campaigns and today’s messages together, so a busy day starts with a useful next step.

04 / CONNECTING THE EXISTING WORKFLOW

Bring the relationship with you.

Client outreach should not start with rebuilding an address book. LightSend brings phone contacts, manually added contacts, and RateUpdate contacts into one place, with a history of messages sent to each person.

We connected the iOS app with the Bubble-based RateUpdate ecosystem to sync contacts and recurring broadcasts. Segments remain managed in RateUpdate, while LightSend handles the personal outreach on the phone.

If a synced source disappears, the recurring broadcast needs attention. That exception is visible instead of silently disappearing from the workflow.

05 / THE DETAILS THAT MAKE IT USABLE

Real days rarely follow the schedule.

Missed a reminder?

Overdue messages remain available. Send Now lets the user catch up—or act earlier—without losing the thread.

Outside working hours?

Quiet hours postpone notifications until the allowed window, keeping planned follow-ups in the queue.

Still preparing?

Draft campaigns, required-field validation, and discard confirmations support the moments before a message is ready.

06 / BUILT AND PUBLISHED

A detailed workflow.A product people can hold.

LightSend is published on the App Store. It brings campaign logic, native messaging, contact management, and an external integration into a focused mobile product—a concrete example of Almost Orbital turning complex business rules into a usable experience.
